A collectible silver coin from the United Kingdom, issued in 2018 as part of The Queen’s Beasts series and struck from 2 oz of 0,9999 fine silver. This release represents the fifth coin in a ten-piece series dedicated to the heraldic beasts associated with the British monarchy. These mythical guardians are based on statues created by sculptor James Woodford in 1953 for the coronation of Her Majesty The Queen. The original figures are now preserved in the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec, while their stone replicas can be seen at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. The design of this coin features the Black Bull of Clarence holding a shield adorned with the golden lions of England and the fleur-de-lis of France, symbolizing royal lineage and historical legacy.
